I am selling my Shires .547 tenor.
TW-47 slide, yellow outers with a nickel crook, regular weight, easily a 9.5/10 condition.
7Y bell
Axial Flow f-valve
Seamed tuning slide in yellow brass (Shires)
Played professionally in a major Canadian orchestra.
The trombone was purchased new from Long & McQuade in Toronto in Feb. 2015.
There is a lacquer crease from a bell repair (the repair actually improved the response of the bell) and some typical lacquer wear around the valve casing, gooseneck, and slide otters. I have used leather hand guards since day one, and ALL repair/maintenance work has been performed by Ron Partch in Toronto.
Realistically priced at NEW PRICE $$3095USD, and I will split intergalactic shipping from Ontario, Canada.
Please contact me with your email address for photos and more information.
Thanks for looking.
