FS: Yamaha 682B. Large bore! Large valve!

This is a Yamaha YSL-682B. .547-bore trombone with a unique oversized valve and open-wrap F-attachment. Some makers called valves with this configuration a "radial-flow" valve. I don't know what Yamaha called it. It is similar to a Conn CL (Lindberg) valve. Valve work very well and is quite, mechanical linkage is nice, bell section shows no current or repaired dents. Slide had nickel outers and action is excellent. I pulled the unusual leadpipe and will include a Brass Ark / Brad Close "Vintage 8H" press-fit leadpipe. This horn is a great player and is ready for use! Case is original and is in great shape. $1150 + shipping + any fees

Based on a (very brief) comparison, I think this may be a better trombone / more ergonomically comfortable than the vaunted Yamaha "Xeno." :idk:

It's professional level. Price seems very reasonable. When was it manufactured?

I am pretty sure these were made for only a few years in the early- to mid-1990s.

We have a few Yamaha experts who might know more though...
