Today would have been Ella Fitzgerald's 102nd birthday, and I was part of a video project here at my university to record "Fascinating Rhythm". It was a fun collaborative project between the music program and the film studies program, who did an excellent job. I'm playing lead trombone. It was released this morning, on her birthday.

This was done in two days, a single one hour rehearsal and a two hour recording session. The audio was recorded in only two or three full takes, and the rest was only used for video purposes.
