I am looking to buy a used modern (possibly modular) bass. I currently play a later 70s yellow King Duo Gravis, which I like, but want to live with something else for bit for comparison's sake.

My main requirements are:

-Dual independent valves

-Relatively modern/open valves. In order of preference: Hagmanns, Greenhoes, TruBores, Olsen/Thayer/Axials, any other well-designed / relatively open rotor.

-Lacquer wear is fine, but nothing too beat up.

-Must be able to send to Canada.

My softer requirements are:

-Modular brand. I've really liked the Raths I've played and heard, but I'll consider just about any of the modular brands. Just haven't liked any Bachs/Conns/etc, though I've never had the chance to try some of the older stuff. I like the idea of being able to swap parts a few years down the road, too.

-Preferably yellow or gold brass bell, but again, open to other materials.

I would potentially consider trading my treasured DG for the right horn, message me if you want some more info.

Cool horn, pretty good price. Was the 4062 ever a thing, I thought the custom with axials was the 3062? I am playing a Getzen custom 3047af tenor w/ Thayer right now, which I think is a good horn, though I don't love it (I haven't tried too many mouthpieces with it though, so that might be premature).

Too bad it's pick up only - hard to get to Texas from West Coast with a Nissan Leaf. :p

It is a 3062. It was a typo I believe. I talked to the seller though and he said he was willing to ship it but was having trouble making the option show up. He's really cool so I'd recommend sending them a message and ask about it
