[size=150][color=#0040FF]BACH 16 M with Herrick H-8 leadpipe

This is a .509 instrument that plays wonderfully. The H-8 leadpipe significantly enhances the sound and was advocated by the late great Bill Watrous (who played a 16M for almost all of his career).

Cosmetically, I would give this a B-. Most of the lacquer has worn off the bell section, giving it that funky “chocolate” patina. Hey…some folks dig that. In terms of sound though…this horn is a PLAYER. The purchase includes a basic, functional case.
