Hi all,
I, regretfully, must part ways with my Bach 42BO. I'm playing too much tuba and bass trombone these days to justify the size of my tenor trombone stable. To my knowledge, I am this horn's second owner. Raw, formerly polished, yellow brass. Trigger is fast and quiet when properly maintained. Slide is an 8 or 8.5 out of 10; perfectly functional and among the quietest Bach slides I've played, but could likely use a trip to the Slide Doctor at some point in the near or distant future. Other slides move perfectly. Incredible player that has been able to do anything I've needed it to do for the past 7 or 8 years, and I'd like to see it in the hands of someone who will use it as much as it should be used.

I'd like to get $1600 for this horn, but all serious offers will be considered. The horn is located in Rochester, NY; I'd be willing to meet a buyer somewhere in the middle, but shipping will be at buyer's expense. The BO wrap wasn't a thing from Bach in the 1970s. When is this horn actually from?

Hi, thank you for bringing this to my attention. Serial is 46XXX, indicating production in 1981 or 82. Title has been corrected, and the price has been lowered.
