Up for sale are a couple different small bores, all really good examples of each brand! Selling only because I need the cash rather, I'd keep the horns all to myself if I could; they all play amazing!!
Shires S1YLW Red Brass Tuning Slide T00NLW - 2000
Amazing Shires, enough said!
Bach 16 Dual bore Corporation Yellow Brass Bell with Standardweight slide - 700 SOLD
- Great example of a Bach from the 70's, can check the year on request, haven't done so yet. Slide super smooth, some lacquer wear in the contact spots and some dings on the flare that don't reflect the playability whatsoever, counterweight can be sent on request. Plays very open and a very creamy, fat sound. Silky smooth upper register, unlike some Bach's with an airy or note based high register. While some may say the Light Weight slides are easier to play, the standard weight on this one really adds a certain warmth and clarity to the sound, and really gives it the powerful character it has. With Case
Bach 12 Gold Brass Bell Standard Weight Slide Corporation Trombone - 700 SOLD
- Yet again, another example of a solid Bach from this era. Some dings here and there in the crook, some in the bell flare, and a small evident spot of bell repair however it's barely noticeable at times. Slide is raw brass, as well as tuning slide. The gold brass on this horn really sings in all registers, a very full sound with a lot of warmth, but the smaller bore gives it the punch and bite a lead player might want. Slide is smooth, with all slides of this age could use some work but it's perfectly fine if it's maintained well. Some say the yellow on gold is a little to warm for them, but again the smaller bore really helps clear up the sound and give a lot of clarity on this horn. Articulations are really solid and things can pop when you need them to, but you can be subtle on it too. Really hard to part with this horn, it's a killer Bach!! With Case
