Great horn! Lots of core and density in the sound, but still enough room to put your own sound in! Very good projection, and the slide is silky smooth! Valve action is the fastest I've played on any Thayer, ANY!

Tuning Slide is a Shires C to give it a little bit more clarity. Couple dings on the bell, one dampener is put on the bell seam to stop it from ringing on certain pitches. Fair lacquer loss on the valve section. Horn is really a unique horn with really great blending capabilities and lots of power, and a lot of unexpected subtlety with it.

Not looking for trades, unless you have a great condition Alexander/German Made Bass Trumpet, and even then it would have to be a straight trade.
