Hi guys!
Today I'm selling the well loved beater Texas Conn 88h Artist Symphony I picked up last year. Comes with original case. I snagged the Getzen 3047AFR that was for sale here on the forums and this one needs to go.
The horn, I think, was a school horn in another life. It was in rough shape when I received it. I had a number of repairs done. Bell was out of whack had that fixed, a number of dents rolled out, had the bumpers and corks replaced, screws on the rotor back plate replaced, one of the inners was replaced at some point but the previous tech didn't trim it, and there was a lot of gunk in the horn. A quick trip to the tech and a bath and the horn was ready to go. The slide is a functional 7.5-8.5/10 depending on if it's got lube on it or not.
I've used this as my main teaching horn and large tenor for the past year. Perfect for a student, poor bass trombone player needing a gig ready tenor or amateur looking for their first horn. The nice thing about this one vs some of the other beater Conn 88h's for sale lately is this one is in a fully functioning state. John Sandhagen was the one to whip it into gig ready shape.
I'd like to get $625 shipped for it. Shipping and fees included in the price. Basically the cost of the horn, plus the work I had done to it, and shipping.
I'll post pics tomorrow when I get off of work.
If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area I'm more than happy to reduce the price and hand deliver it to you.
The previous owner who sold me this horn did me a great service getting to me for the price he did. If you're a starving trombone player in need of a large tenor or if this horn is going to a high school student please let me know, I'll be willing to haggle a bit to try and get you a horn!
Thanks!

Finally got pictures! As you can tell. Not pretty but it's in functional shape! As I said before the horn is good to go and does not need additional repairs or work done to it.
