I'm moving, which means time to offload some horns that haven't been getting as much use.
Bach 42C: This is the open wrap convertible model 42. The F Attachment section can be removed and replaced with a straight neck pipe if needed. Serial number starts with 125, which I think places is it in late 90s/early 2000. Most of the lacquer is still intact save for some around the f-attachment neckpipe and hand grip. There are some additional minor cosmetic flaws: marks in the bell from creasing that has since been fixed, as well as a spot next to one of the braces that has been resoldered. Otherwise a fine playing horn with a responsive bell, and an smooth slide (probably 8/10). It has been sonically cleaned, and inspected about 9 months ago.
Conn 78H: .525 bore straight pipe instrument. The serial number starts with 390 which places it around 1950 (the rest of the SN has since rubbed off). Most of the lacquer is gone on the instrument but the brass is overall still in good condition (or so brass technicians have told me). The slide has some chrome plating that has gone, but it still moves pretty well, probalby 7/10. The Bell is incredibly lively and resonant. Makes it a fun jazz horn if you want a little mellower sound.
Contact me for photos- I've tried to detail the cosmetic flaws as best as possible.
Bach: $1200 Or best offer
Conn: $600 Or best offer
Cost includes shipping in continental US.
