Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a 10" bell from an Olds bass trombone. All I really need is the bell, but I'll consider a complete bell section or instrument if the price is right.
Please let me know what you've got!
Thanks,
Funkhoss

That going to be a "Mission Impossible". The S20/S23 had 9" inch bells. A 10" bell was a very a special order item and few if any were actually made. I would be totally amazed if you could find one that existed and is actually for sale.
Good luck!!!
Good luck!!!

It never hurts to ask. : )
I've seen several of both models with the bigger bell "in the wild." Perhaps someone may have something lying around...

The catalogs I have from the 1960's (up through 1970) all list the standard bell size for the S-23 as being 10", with 9" being an option. The ones I've seen "in the wild" from that era (admittedly not that many) had 10" bells.

I've seen both. I own a 9" S20, and when I was looking for it, I ran into several 10", so they are both out there.

I have a 10" Reynolds bronze-o-lite bell, but I would rather not sell it... just saying to show these things are out there.
