Gutted to be selling this but it's not getting played and have just had a big car repair bill <EMOJI seq="1f625" tseq="1f625">😥</EMOJI>

Built around the mid 1940's this beautiful old instrument has a gold brass bell and outer slide tubes. It has been restored at some point in the past and is in generally good condition. Despite the best efforts of a fantastic repair tech we could not get the slide running properly with out replacing the lower inner leg with one from an early 80's 36 (see pic) The top inner and leadpipe are original and although is some plating wear it now runs well.

There is some cosmetic acid bleed round the bell rim and a very tiny crack in the lateral bell seam which does not affect the blow and does not buzz at all.

Case is original and in great shape considering it's age.

Large bore horns from this era are very scarce !!
