Hey all,

I’ll be flying a few times this summer to various camps. I was wondering if anyone has any experience flying with a 10.5” bell, and what case would be best (besides Tank)?

When I fly, I use an SKB golf case, the large one. I had the inside filled with foam, custom cut to fit my gig bag. I also put a styrofoam cone in the bell and put a disc made of dense foam in the bag to protect the bell. I just flew two weeks ago. Leaving my home airport , TSA allows you to be present if/when they check your bag. Lately, I found this to be less of an issue at airports. I have never had any damage to my horn transporting it in this manner.
