I am letting another special horn go. There will be more to come, too.
This horn started life as a 1972 Corporation straight 42. I bought it a few years ago in original, mint condition. I had a B&S/Courtois rotor valve and wrap added. BENN HANSSON did the work. The valve lever comes from a Bach 50B2 and still has the cool "saxophone" roller. Very cool and there is no extra charge for this. The valve is great - way more open blowing than a stock Bach valve. Slide is beautiful and shows few signs of use. Same with the bell. The is a FANTASTIC playing 42. It is very likely to play better than any 42 you have played - unless you have played A LOT of them! Comes in a big Bach case from the 1990s (?). I can include some kind of mouthpiece, too. We can discuss - I have lots.
$1700 includes insured shipping.
