I am selling my 1970 Conn 60H for $2,000 plus shipping. https://photos.app.goo.gl/zMhYrr9staMEccBK9 View link for photos.

The Conn 60 H is pretty much identical to the Conn 62H except for its’ single rotor F attachment. F valve attachment works quickly and smoothly. Allows for optimum resonance and agility in all registers. Extended low range is very open! Great start for tenor players who would like to dabble in the bass trombone world, and for bass players who are searching for new and interesting tone colors. This is a very versatile instrument, reminiscent of the 1970’s golden era. Perfect for light symphonic playing such as Mozart and Brahms, and very satisfying in solo playing.

Unique springs in slide used as compression for 1st position. This antique Conn quality is used to enable fine-tuning and vibrato in the 1st position. It can also prevent collision of the slide avoiding that uncomfortable bump which can be damaging to the player. An easily customizable feature.

Famous hand slide tuner as shown in photos is well maintained and ingeniously crafted. Because of the tuning adjustments made on the slide, the bell section is conical and uninterrupted. This allows for a very natural timbre rich in overtones, while maintaining a consistent core across all registers. I have played this instrument on a variety of mouthpieces ranging from large tenor mouthpieces to large bass mouthpieces.

Rose Brass Bell for a dark and smooth tone color gives the horn a classic Conn sound. The lacquer is in great condition, with beautiful engraving patterns clear and visible. Some wear on slide handle, however this has not had an effect on the use or sound, and I have seen no further growth of wear. Customization of slide to fit hand. 9.5” Bell, .562 Bore. Very cosmetically appealing. In incredible condition considering that it is been maintained for almost half of a century.

I have a suspicion that the 60H is a better horn than the 62H--simpler. I would be happy taking one of these out for heavy symphonic work too, given that a second trigger is hardly needed.
