I am selling a like new, Shires 8.5" gold brass bell. Shires calls it their Chicago bell. This is what the website says about the bell: "CHI Bell: 8.5 inch, one piece, hand-hammered “TII” taper in balanced medium-weight gold brass with traditionally brazed seam and soldered bead
one-piece, gold-brass bell with a large TII taper produces a rich, broad, complex sound that allows for a wide range of colors at different dynamics."
The bell has no acid bleed, dents or scratches that I can see. It plays beautifully, especially with a nickel slide, but I have a M&W 322 on order and can't see this bell getting much use in the future. I am asking $850 plus CONUS shipping. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking..
