I am selling a King Tempo that has a nickel plated bell. This would be a good back up salsa or jazz horn. Bad lacquer wear on slide and scratches on the bell. The slide is a little noisy but when I use trombontine that goes away. Comes with a modern King case. Asking $350 obo.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I am curious about the age of this instrument. The description of this instrument sounds like the first new trombone my parents bought for me when I was in junior high school in the early 1960's.

Does it have a straight bell brace or the "King curved" brace?

Early Tempos had the curved brace. I believe they were discontinued for a while, and when they were brought back, they had the straight brace.
I could be wrong, my memory is a bit fuzzy. One of my students in the early 80's had a Tempo with a curved brace. I remember it playing pretty well.
