What are the benefits to the heritage versus the standard DW pieces? Or what didn't you like about this piece that's making you sell it? I recently bought a 7CS and like it, but have always been intrigued by the Heritage mouthpieces.

I like the piece. It is just that I are playing a Nils Lungdren Yamaha that is a little more compact for the salsa music I play most of the time. I think the response and overtones of the Heritage series is just a little better than the standard Dennis wick model. the quality of the plating is a lot better in my opinion.

Usually better plating and a flatter, thinner rim. I have a classic piece I used to play and I've just found the heritage pieces play a bit better for me, with the rim and the different cup and backbore shapes. Definitely give one a try!
