I purchased this trombone from a man who bought it direct from the factory. Back in the 70's the Woodwind/Brasswind employees could go to the factory and pick out horns. This is one of those instruments. The serial number is 19178 indicating a manufacture date of 1976. I hesitate to say it is "rare" however you don't see too many straight, silver plated model 36 horns floating around. I really like the way this horn plays. If you have never played a silver plated trombone you might want to try it. The slide is a 9.5 out of 10 and there has never been any major dent work on this instrument. There are a few very minor dings here and there but nothing of consequence.

I am asking $1200 plus actual shipping costs to the CONUS. I do accept PayPal.
