Conn 88H with Christian Lindberg valve. I've owned this horn for around 15 years. It's in excellent shape. Some lacquer wear around the handslide and the trigger as might be expected. More at the crook as it had to be removed at one point for some repair. A couple of almost unnoticeable dings in the bell section. The valve has a really short throw and has a great smooth action. Slides are in excellent shape. Comes with factory case that has seen almost no use (includes original paperwork). 3 interchangeable leadpipes in addition to two valve caps (one heavy, one standard).
This pro-level horn would make a great step up for a young high school player.
This horn retails for ~$3000.00 and I've seen used for $1,995. Reduced from $1800 to <U>$1650</U>. Buyer pays shipping.
