Hello everbody,

Life has taken an unfortunate turn and I am now in need of some cash :( I hate to do it, but I will be selling my 1970 Conn 88HT. It is in extremely good condition, and I'm asking 1800.00 for it, but that is negotiable to a point. It comes with the original case.

PM me if you'd like to see specific pictures.

Was the "T" version of the 88H made in 1970?

I’m pretty sure it was the just 88H until the Gen 2 models in the 90s.

I wasn't paying much attention in those days, but I'm pretty sure that in 1970 there was only a single version of the Conn 88H. No thin-bell alternate. Standard rose brass bell only, with classic closed wrap.

At some point, Conn introduced the open-wrap 88HO as a new, improved 88H – but that was quite a bit later, I think.

88H. Nothing wrong with that, though!
