Does anyone have any recommendations of a mouthpiece that is about as deep a bach 1 1/2g - 1/4g the has a wider cup width? I've tried going deeper, but now I've realized that I was going bigger the wrong way and now I wanna try and a find a piece that's maybe slightly bigger than the 1 1/2g and has a wider cup width

Elliott J cup, J8, and around the 110 rim... MB or LB series. The Symington 1.5 has a SLIGHTLY bigger rim than a Bach 1 1/2G, but it makes a big difference... it's what I play now.

Griego 2 I think is like a traditional 1.5 rim but with a deeper cup. For me it played big for that rim size.

Yeah that's how I felt too. I currently play on a DE LB 113, J, J8. I also have a wonderful Bach Mount Vernon 1 1/2G that is good too. To me I like the control I get with mouthpieces that are larger than a 1 1/2G cup but smaller than a 1 1/4G cup.
