So, since I started I always have air leak outside the mouthpiece and since one year I can't start my initial attack and feel tense when sustaining note.

Can all this symptoms be related to focal dystonia ?

There are any number of reasons for your problem. Somebody like Doug Elliott or Dave Wilken can help diagnose. them

I had a friend with similar problems due to Bell's Palsy.

Sometimes a residual of a small stroke can create this problem.

Or things that can easily be fixed.

A Skype lesson with Doug may to sorting your problem.

Good luck.

Focal dystonia, Bell’s palsy, small stroke?

With all due respect for BG, I might think about getting a medical opinion.

Quite true. I'm not a doctor, nor have I ever played one, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn last night.

But a Skype with Doug can at least identify the things that are easily fixed.

This is something that can fixed easily by someone who actually understands embouchure function.

See the OP's previous thread about this in January.

I still do Skype lessons.

Have a lesson with Doug Elliott, and also seek medical advice
