Hello! New member here, hope this is the right place to post. I play lead trombone in my high school's jazz band. We play all levels of literature, including lots of Ellington, and this year we're playing Sepia Panorama. I understand how to count the triplet 16ths in the piece, but I haven't the faintest clue how to play them or teach my section how to play them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

There are many members here much more qualified to comment on jazz pedagogy like this, but especially when you are playing charts like this that are transcriptions of legendary bands, there is nothing like the original recordings to teach...
