Time to let go of a really clean, nice small bore Kanstul horn.
It’s a non-standard 1555: 7 ½” yellow brass bell, but instead of a nickel silver slide it has a light brass slide with a brass crook. It also has a nickel silver tuning slide. The hand brace is straight instead of curved.
It plays very much like a Kanstul – warm, velvety sound, but good power and brightens up when pushed. Very smooth, fast slide, in excellent alignment.
The horn is basically in like-new condition, blemish-free and dent-free. Comes with an SBK case.
It takes interchangeable leadpipes. Comes with a single H6 pipe. That’s a medium-throat Burt Herrick style pipe, as originally made for the Williams 6.
