Hello all. For sale is a Holton TR183, built in 1986, I picked up a while back out of curiousity since the horn has a 9-inch bell and .562 bore. Much to my surprise it's very responsive and has a fat lower register.

The horn has some spotty lacquer wear and small pings in the bell. No wear on the inner stockings, but, the slide bow is dented, as you will see in the photos. The slide can use a trip to the Slude Dr. or any brass technician that performs great slide work. The horn is clean and the valve and tuning slides work well. Comes with the original mouthpiece and warranty card.

This horn is fabulous for a tenor doubler or someone that wants a quick response bass for jazz playing.

Price is $975, which includes shipping in the lower 48 States, payment by Paypal. I am open to trades, notably Conn 88H handslides with removeable leadpipes, but will consider anything you propose. Message me with any questions or interest.
