I'm selling my JP Rath 236 Alto. The instrument is in virtually new condition with maybe a couple scratches on the contact points. This is an outstanding instrument for the price point and can easily compete with other altos at two or three times the price. I don't think you can do better than this if you are looking to start playing the instrument. I used it on Mendelssohn 5 earlier this year and it worked beautifully.

Asking $600 USD. New ones range from $889 to $919.
Please email me for additional pictures or questions. I'm willing to include your choice of a small shank mouthpiece from what I've got, but we can talk about that later. Shipping will most likely be from Canada and we can talk about that, too.

It's a great alto! Since I bought mine, my Conn 36H is in the closet.

I played one of these this afternoon. Lots of fun!

SOLD
FWIW - I've moved to a 36H that works better for me.
