Two questions:
Are the cup depths similar to the corresponding large shank versions?
Are they any good? :D :idk:

They are totally different. Much shallower.

Thanks!... So a C cup small shank are more like a B large shank (approximately)?

Im in the middle of moving so I dont have both of those handy, but the SS C seems shallower than the LS A. The SS C is designed for medium bore horns (and is on the shallow side for that use in my opinion) while the LS A is designed to play lots of high stuff on a large bore horn. The shapes within the cups are also quite different.

Thanks!.. Thats helpful.. I am borrowing a big medium bore which needs to go bright and have an easy high register and a tiny old Holton that needs a bit of more body to the tone.. The C seems to cover both i guess.. Good luck with the moving.. ;-)
