Another nice horn rescued from reaching the grips of a 5th grader. For sale is a King 2102PL (2B+). Specs on the horn are 7 3/8-inch yellow brass bell and .500 straight bore. The horn has misc. lacquer wear on the grips, slide, and tuning slide. Tuning slide has some dents and slide crook some pings. It feels like there might be a ping in the bottom outer slide, otherwise the slide moves freely. Some wear in the case. My guess is someone used to sit on the case waiting for the bus.

The horn plays fairly warm to dark sounding. Nothing like my 2B Liberty! Send the slide to the Slide Dr., the bell to your local tech, and you'll have yourself a great horn.

$650 with shipping included in the lower 48 States, payment by Paypal. I will sell internationally but will need to calculate shipping before final total. PM me with questions/interests. Thanks!

To be clear, I’m not in the market for one, just bought a 2B valve horn. Own a 3B+ that I love but was not aware of a 2B+. Would you mind telling me the bore size of the 2B+ please, just curious?

The 2B+ is a 12.7 mm (0.500") bore.

For some reason King never had 0.500" and 0.525" bore trombones in the top line so they introduced 2115 (2B+, 0.500") and 2125 (3B+, 0.525") in the 1980s.
