$100. A coffin style case (square ends) from the late 40's/early 50's. In pretty good condition, I cleaned it up and did some minor repairs and it should have years of use left in it. It does not smell, and never did. Brown alligator tolex exterior, deep purple interior. I replaced the leather at the ends of the case, the original was crumbling off and aside from looking bad, the leather seems to help hold the case together. I also put some leather patches on the velour interior to cover the wear spots where the bell and slide tenons rest, I figured the leather will be more durable. I also put new screws in to hold the slide holder in place. It shows wear inside and out, but for a 70 year old case it looks good.

The latches and hinges are original and work fine, but the spring on one latch is broken. The handles are also original, the one on the end has a chip near where it attaches to the case and may have to be replaced at some point.

It is lighter and more compact than the later cases, and WILL NOT FIT a 3B - 7 1/2" bell size max. There is plenty of room for mutes, or music, and probably even a valve section!

Pics are on Trombone Marketplace and Facebook Brass Exchange. (can't get the hang of pics here, )

$100. meeting up in central Jersey area, $125. + paypal fees to ship CONUS.
