I mainly used this instrument for first trombone in symphony orchestra, for which it’s ideally suited. It would also be an awesome solo instrument. It has an incredibly even response and beautiful clean sound. For various reasons I won’t be doing much symphonic playing and have chosen to keep my Elkhart 8h as it suits my personal taste slightly better. The Schagerl is though a very fine instrument and it was a hard decision between the two.

Normally, the Aurora would have an F-trigger, I understand this one was made to special order for the original owner.

Since I don’t have a case for it, collection near to Stuttgart, Germany would be much preferred, otherwise we could figure out something for shipping. I could ship in my 88h case and get the case returned, or you send me a case or I could even get a cheap gig-bag or case just for shipping.
