I found a mouthpiece. Thanks to everyone who reached out! :good:

I recently acquired a Conn 70H and am looking for a mouthpiece with a Remington shank. My current 1 1/2 G isn’t doing the trick. I’m relatively new to playing bass trombone, so I’m looking for something in the 1.5-2 range. I’d also take suggestions on mouthpieces, but I am looking to buy. Thank you.

I have both, and they're both good. I'm currently finding that the Symington really makes my 70H ring, but I didn't do the full search with the DE options.

I have a Schilke 59 for sale which has the Remington shank.

While it does have a slightly larger cup diameter than what you described above, it has (in comparison to other mouthpieces of similar cup size) a rather small throat and back bore which in my opinion makes it very manageable and efficient for the less experienced on non-full time bass trombonist.

Send me a message if you want photos or to discuss it further.
