I think it's time to get rid of that rule.

I mean, so far it seems to be working exactly as I envisioned and seems to be popular, other than for him and that Canadian whose name I'm blanking on. In this case, the sentence doesn't even violate the rule since it's related to the topic at hand (pun intended).
