One of the community bands I play with has a small trumpet section, usually only three people show up. (I'm usually the only trombone, though we bring some ringers in for concerts.)

Last night the director told me she thought Doug Elliott was improving her band. She said the two trumpet players who took a lesson when Doug was down here for a gig are playing significantly better. Both are enthusiastic about the progress they're making.

I had one Skype lesson with Doug. He was definitely able to hint me in the right direction with some of my issues and I think my practicing got more efficient thanks to him. I plan taking another lesson with him soon.
