Shires slide for Conn 62HG

Hi, has anyone tried to put a shires slide (62-78) on a Conn bell section?
Just change the tenon of the slide or better change the slide reciever?

You could use a Getzen dual bore slide tenon, unless I'm mistaken.

My old getzen slide worked with a conn 88hcl just fine, I would assume it would work.
