Two Popes

I watched this last night. I didn’t know the backstory and, frankly, wasn’t expecting much. I was very surprised when it turned out to be a very good movie. In fact, I was surprised to see it was not nominated for an Academy best picture award. Excellent writing, cinematography, and Pryce and Hopkins were terrific.(It must be tough for AH not to appear to be AH playing a role or, for that matter, playing H Lecter).

I saw the movie too, but wondered how much was impression vs. actually factual.
