I didn't know Scott had his own group!

Played with him in reading bands a couple times recently. Monster player.

Some personnel overlap with the Bill Holman Band recorded at the same event.

Scott is really a fine trombonist - and a nice guy too!

I heard Scott a few years back with the Mike Vax / Kenton Alumni band. What a great concert! And Scott was simply superb.

I haven't heard Scott's band live yet, but I did get a chance to teach with him for a couple of years back when the Great Basin Jazz Camp was going. Super laid back, very knowledgeable and approachable. I fondly remember my abject terror at seeing for the first time Scott playing through Cherokee at a burning tempo in a couple of different keys, Chris Potter style. I had never before seen a trombonist in person who could do that with such ease, and just as a spur-of-the-moment "let's try this" thing. :amazed:
