This Getzen Custom Series, 3047AFR .547 large bore, thayer axial f-valve, rose-brass bell trombone is really in excellent condition. The horn just hasn’t been played much at all.
On the bell section I found two of the tiniest mute dings....and a little scratch here and there. The bell section is pretty close to like-new condition. And it’s very pretty.
The tuning slides operate smoothly.
The Thayer valve action is quiet and smooth.
The slide section has some superficial scratches, mostly on the upper outer slide tube.... and there are sparse scratches around the usual hand holding areas. No dings or dents. Of course there is no plating wear through on the stockings. It hasn’t been played much. The slide operation is fast and smooth.
It comes with 3 leadpipes and a Griego CS5 Mouthpiece in excellent condition.
