King 607 slide replacement

My King 607 (1980s) inner slide is corroded inside, and needs replacing. I have seen a 608 and 609 replacement for sale. Does anyone know if the screw threads are compatible with the 607? I am in complete lockdown here, as is the seller, but they are still doing mail order. Any help/advice would be gratefully received.

King parts aren't very expensive. I'd contact a tech in your area and see about replacing the inners. Its bound to be cheaper than used unless the slide isn't in good condition in which case, you now have two not so hot slides!

For what it's worth, 607, 608, and 609 slides should be interchangeable. But not 606 -- it's a different sized horn.
