Giardinelli 6D, WTF?

I have a vintage Giardinelli 6D in much nicer condition than any of those.

I'm willing to sell it for a mere $1,300 (90% discount!). :clever:

And for that price, I'll throw in a mouthpiece pouch – and free shipping. Or personal delivery within 50 miles.

(I need to get out of the house.) ;)

Nothing compared with LOUD prices these days.

At least the Giards don't come with unhinged political rants and unsolicited marriage advice.

There are some (apparently new) LOUD mouthpieces listed on eBay. Purchase without the political rant and domestic advice. Decent prices for nice stainless steel mouthpieces.

These aren't even the nice screw rim kinds!

I have about four of these sitting in a drawer right now... looks like they'll be part of my retirement nest egg... supposedly..

Yeah, that bidding history is in no way suspicious.

And yet the seller looks reputable. Maybe someone messing with them?

I think the seller is legit. I contacted him about another (MUCH lower-priced, but also rather worn) mouthpiece the other day. His response was reasonable and rational.

Definitely something funny about the bidding for the Giardinelli quartet.

I'm still willing to sell my "vintage" (?) Giardinelli 6D. Any offers?

Yeah... looks like some loonies went nuts on bidding. You can see where the actual bidders stopped, around $40.00.

My guess would be that some bots designed to look for multiple items both spotted the same items, and fought with each other.
