“Characteristics - The Morandini 1C was developed for Italian trombonist Daniele Morandini. It is similar in diameter and depth to an Alessi 1C. The diameter is 1.078 inches measured at .04 inches into the cup, which is similar in size to a Bach or Wedge 1.5G. The cup depth is similar to a Bach or Wedge 5GS. The Morandini 1C has a large shank and .285 throat. It is based on the lighter Wedge LS2-L blank.”
The heavier version has a .281 throat.
