Just came across this absolutely beautiful performance on YouTube from my old mate Ian Moffat of ADAM Blues by Joseph Horowitz.

<YOUTUBE id="MqsRDfBrit8" t="0">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqsRDfBrit8&t=0s</YOUTUBE>

Ian writes

"This beautifully crafted short piece was commissioned by 'ADAM', International Literary Review, for a celebration concert at the French Institute, South Kensington, London, on 17th October 1968. When I decided to record this, I was amazed to find that there are no other recordings of it out there on Youtube. Nor, it would seem, any available audio recordings. It is not a 'showy' piece, but the richness of the harmony has always appealed to me. So here, in the hope of giving this miniature masterpiece a wider audience, is my recording of Joseph Horovitz's Adam Blues".

You wondered a few days ago about slide vibrato.

Does this video help?

(Yes, it's all in the wrist!)
