Does anyone have any experience with Record Silver Polish on silver-plated instruments ?

Looks like it might be a wax-type product which leaves a residual coating to protect the silver from contact with hands, oxygen and other tarnish-causing substances.
I like the concept of something which would slow down the rate of tarnishing. Over the long term I guess you might want to remove it periodically and use conventional silver polish to restore the shine then re-apply the coating.
Thanks
Dave

You could try Wright's Silver Cream (for non-lacquered instruments)
