One of the best Bass Trombone sounds out there in my opinion, and I've founds his books very helpful as well.

I'm listening to Quincy Jones The Quintessence now. What are some of your favorite tracks of his playing?

Another legend lost. Bummer. His was the first bass trombone sound I heard. I listened to that recording SO much in high school.

I love Paul from my early years.. We lost one of the best bass trombone artist ever... I collected all of his records (I try...) I met few times and stay in connection until 2020 by mail... In the end of 2019 he send me a big gift his two bass trombone books with his dedication words and signature... Will be forever in my heart... Paul and George Roberts are the best for me...
