So if anyone saw my saga in the other thread about the seller who is among the least careful packers/shippers I’ve run across....I did at least have the thought that I should ask.

Does anyone have just a slide section they’d be willing to part with? I’m 99% sure I actually only need the inner slide, but to be safe I’ll take the whole slide. If I’m lucky, I can use the outer slide of mine as it is in very good condition from appearances ....but again, to be safe, prefer if it was in better condition so it matches my bell.

I have a variety of things I’m willing to also trade for it in some combination (Mutes, mouthpieces, 1st gen silent brass control unit, Etc.) - but may just handle on an individual basis - Message me if you’re got any ideas).

OOOOR, if someone is interested in buying my current 354 in its current condition (bell only, sticking slide section only, or full kit) LMK. See my 354 post in the repair section for background.

At the end of the day I’m looking to move past the current situation. I have a non-playable 354. I have no attachment to it as it came to me damaged. I’m open to parting this one out if someone can use the working part. Or if I can fairly inexpensively make this one whole again (preferably through a trade), that would be great too.

Very open to creative solutions here as I figure out the next step for this horn. Knowing that I eventually sell every horn I’ve ever bought, I am not decided yet that it’s a sound investment to send to the shop. And not a fan of driving across town + going inside for an extended period these days unless I have to. :)
