Help identifying trombone

Does anyone know what the make and model of this is? It is pretty well used, but looks to be from the early ‘20’s or ‘30’s. I can get really cheap locally:

Interesting. Wish we could see the bell engraving.

Ive seen a heart ensignia on Elkhart trombones, but counterweight is hard to make out - does not look like "Elkhart".

Maybe someone else will recognize it better.

I thought it was an illusion at first, but the cross braces are slanted, right?

I have a student playing on an old Buescher with slanted bracing.

Buescher would tie in to my guess of Elkhart since they were a division of Buescher.

Hope someone more knowledgeable chimes in; the suspense is distracting.

@Andyc: you might just have to buy it to solve the mystery. :lol:
