Hi all!

My pianst duo partner Anne Rainwater and I have been actively commissioning and premiering new works for tormbone and piano, and we wanted to share some of what we've been up to! These works hopefully will expand the repertoire in both representative and musical ways.

Quinn Mason - Sonata (no horns barred) - [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoX5GWSaRfs

Jessica Rudman - Soliloquay - [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ytnb0VhW-H4

Alex Temple - All We Saw From the Window was Water - [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WCAmoyes_0

Anne Hege - Boom Boom Terror, Boom Boom Bliss - [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLibarhLOoM

and my arrangement of Arvo Part's Fratres (still a work in progress at some points!)

and I'd also love to announce a new consortium for trombone and piano being currently written by Kincaid Rabb. This is an affordable way to have a hand in premiering a fun new work, if you join you get premier rights and a few other fun things. Also, cat pictures!

Thanks for your time!

Thank you for announcing your new music for trombone. This is very encouraging. In addition to being a trombonist I also compose works for the trombone myself. I recently finished a 4 movement Concerto myself. It was a labor of love and took me about 5 years to finish. So I am encouraged by new music for trombone and adaptions of music for the trombone. Thank you

Is the music for this concerto - or a recording - available anywhere?
