Hi guys!
I'm looking for a new mouthpiece similar to a 5g (similar cup depth and backbore) but with a slightly bigger rim size.
What mouthpieces with these characteristics do you recommend me?
Thank for the sugestions!

In my stuff, XT 102, G, G8 would be a good place to start.

Have you tried a 4G? Schilke 52?
Not to take anything from Doug -- I play a LT102/G/G8 on my symphony horn.

4g and schilke 52 have bigger cup sizes than bach 5g, I only want a slight bigger rim size.

There are a few makers who offer a mouthpiece that has a 4G size rim and 5G sized cup.
Doug Elliott gave you a great example using his system. Also he's got an F+ cup and a G+, just in case it's a little too big or small for what you wanted. He also offers rim options.
Other makers offer this same type of mouthpiece as well:
Griego 4M
Hammond 11ML
Greg Black 4G-5G
Ferguson B4G-5G

Ultimate Brass and Pickett are 2 other companies that make some good mouthpieces that would fit the dimensions that the OP was looking for. Also Greg's NY series and Christan's Alessi series would also be worth looking at. Lastly, you could take a 5G that you like and have it cut to a screw-rim cup to accept a rim that you like.

Re: Cup Size of Schilke 52. The “depth” (certainly not the rim) of the cup is actually shallower on a 52 than it is on a Bach 5G.
It also has a narrower bore, around .266.
Doug Elliott’s adhoc mouthpiece charts are pretty darn accurate and he puts the cup “depth of a 52 as an E (vs. a G).
The standard 52 was a choice for a principal trombone player way back when.

Hi.
I just switched from a 5g Bach mouthpiece to a Griego 5M. It has the same dimensions in the cup and depth but the most comfortable and it’s makes a more beautiful sound. If you want you can try it to see if it is more comfortable for you.
Cheers!!!
