Hi all,

Anyone happen to know an alto trombone that is made with a rose gold or gold dual bore slide with removable lead pipe? OR Does anybody know a place where alto trombone slides are sold separately from the rest of the horn?

Thanks for your help

Just curious: What do you expect to get from this special build?

Apart from the usual suspects (the boutique makers) I can't think of anybody making what you want.

What brand of alto do you play? What bore(s) are you wanting? I can make you a slide.

The new Alessi Q alto from Shires has a .485/.495 slide with gold brass outers, with a yellow crook.

Slide, 480 ". The sound is good, the leadpipe is removable. Factory defect, poor assembly. Easy to treat.

If you are open to German trombones this might make a few more options available for this.

E.g. I have once played the Jahn/Throja alto.

It is not actively marketed from my knowledge, but I think a few have been sold.

I played it when I was looking for my first alto. It's a great instrument, but if I remember correctly it was on the very large side for an alto and also out of my budget at that point.
