I bought a Neotech kit which comes with redundant parts, and rather than throw the extra hardware in the trash, would rather see if anyone here has a use for it. I'm using the straight tube bushing, 1 shim, and (obviously) the grip itself.
What's left:
Bushing for gusseted tube (GONE)
Bushing for curved tube
2 screws (enough to attach 1 bushing)
6 shims (kit came with 7, I needed 1)
A bushing/shim kit without the grip usually costs $12, whereas postage in CONUS is probably about $7. You can save $5 and I can avoid feeling bad about adding plastic waste to the landfill, everybody wins.
UPDATE: The gusseted tube bushing is gone, I still have the curved bushing, screws, and shims. Plus the original packaging with installation instructions. What horns even have curved hand braces? Urbie Green, Jinbao alto, some of the Courtois models... not many that are heavy enough to really need a hand brace. Anyways, I'll even subsidize postage for anyone who can save the rest of this from the landfill, let's say $5 to mail it.
